I spent a day tidying up my website (took me 20 tries to get the logo to have the right color background!), updating my resume and getting all my ducks in a row. Tomorrow, I'll be getting some fancy schmancy paper at Office Max to start printing out my resume to send to newspapers across the Midwest (and who knows where else).

While the administration team suffered a crushing 16-3 loss to the  student team, the collaborations between students and staff made the day  a success for everyone.

I can't believe I'm already in the middle of my third week at the Sun-Times. Between Carolyn and Danny coming to visit, work and not having Internet in my apartment, things have been pretty hectic. Members of the University of Cincinnati Sigma Alpha Epsilon chapter raised nearly $6,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. All but 10 of the 80 members participated in the 7th annual Out of the Darkness walk in October 2010. They did it all "for John."

McMicken Hall was evacuated early Thursday due to a bomb threat found in the building.

Alarms went off at approximately 9:30 a.m. after a note was found, and the building was evacuated immediately, said Gene Ferrara, University of Cincinnati Police Division director of public safety.

For some University of Cincinnati students, UC's College-Conservatory of Music remains a hidden gem of the university. Top-quality productions go unnoticed, which is a shame, since many of the performances are free to students. Spring quarter is chock-full of free events for students, ranging in everything from opera to a steel drum band.

I found out that I can use my STAF time as service hours for my scholarship, which will make my life way, way easier.
